Unions open branches at Poly

THE Namibia Public Workers’ Union (Napwu) and the Namibian National Teachers’ Union (Nantu) yesterday opened branches at the Polytechnic of Namibia.

Around 160 staff members attended the first union meeting on the campus, where Napwu branch organiser William Immanuel and Nantu branch organiser Gerson Bendos //Garoëb explained the benefits of union membership to them.
