Tjizumaue crowned Miss NGO Namibia 2024

Walvis Bay-born Quintina Tjizumaue was crowned the winner of the Miss Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) pageant in Windhoek last week.

The first and second runner-up positions were scooped by Romancia Seibes and Celither Baldwin, respectively.

Tjizumaue said she is excited to serve the nation. Her role will include representing all local NGOs and civil society organisations.

Speaker of the National Assembly Peter Katjavivi attended the crowning event, alongside a panel of distinguished judges and sponsors, and an audience of family, friends, associates, colleagues and members of the media.

According to this year’s pageant patron, Hilde Shindondola, the Miss NGO finalists demonstrated their talents, passion and advocacy in a variety of areas affecting various communities.
