TIGERS staged a late comeback to beat Oshakati City 2-1 in the MTC Premiership match, while Eleven Arrows redeemed themselves from a poor start to the league with their second victory in a 1-0 win over Hotspurs in Windhoek on Saturday.

Premiership rookies United Stars kept Blue Waters hostage through a 1-all draw also on Saturday, while African Stars blew SKW away with a 4-0 drubbing on Friday night.Black Africa butchered Ramblers 5-0 in their tie on Thursday night to boost their goal tally, which now stands at 18 and which might prove helpful in future.Tigers managed to scrape past Oshakati City which fought greatly at the Sam Nujoma Stadium to push them into fifth spot on the log with 15 points, while Arrows were lucky to pull it off against a gutsy Hotspurs.The win by Arrows bring their points to 10 after seven matches and coaches Ronnie Kanalelo and Congo Hindjou heaved a huge sigh of relief after their side was kept on their toes through the match despite an early goal in the first half.African Stars are two points adrift (18) from table-toppers Orlando Pirates after feasting on SKW which proved too vulnerable in many facets of their game.Black Africa are in third spot with 17 points after Ali Akan’s men ran riot in especially the second half in their match against Ramblers. BA led 1-0 at half-time, only to open the floodgates midway through the second half to post their second highest total in two consecutive matches. A week before BA beat Oshakati City 5-2 away.
