AT least three suicides were reported last week – in Windhoek, at Omungwelume in the Ohangwena Region, and at Endola in the Oshana Region.
The Police reported that Lydia Kamati (33) allegedly hanged herself in a hut, using a rope, at Endola. In Windhoek, Lazarus Kafita (22) is believed to have hanged himself from a tree last Thursday. And in the Omungwelume case, Lukas Nghifindaka (29) died in his hut at Omanyoshe village in the early morning hours of Friday, after allegedly overdosing on 60 TB tablets.
