THE start of every month usually brings two things: Payday euphoria and rib-cracking, side-splitting entertainment brought to you by the monthly stand-up comedy show, FreeYourMind.
Tomorrow’s FreeYourMind show, which is themed ‘NBC (No Better Comedy)’ will present the satirical ‘News at Eight’. Comedian and organiser Onesmus ‘Slick’ Upindi invites Windhoekers to check out what they have to offer and promises that the show will be filled with laughs.’I don’t want to give away too much, it will be an exciting show and people should just come through to not miss out on the news.’ Old FreeYourMind favourites Bravo the Brave, Joe White, as well as Val and Shaka and female comedian Weasel, will try their utmost to get you slap your thighs. The audience can also look forward to new comedians making their stage debut.Tickets are available in advance for N$50 at Universal Sounds, Gadget Namibia, and the Bank Windhoek Theatre School. Tickets will also be on sale at the door for N$60.
