I WISH to refer to Jochen Becker’s letter of 29 July 2011 regarding Alfred Tjiurimo Hengari’s column.
I can’t help the irritation after reading that letter and personal innuendo against the columnist.I don’t know Hengari from a bar of soap. Same applies to Becker. Who gives all these people [the right] to crucify the person of Hengari – in this free society nogal – instead of debating the issues that he raises.People missed the plot on the Paris vs Windhoek article big time. By not carefully reading between the lines, people like Becker and Robin Tyson got the complete wrong end the stick.Becker, you spat on Hengari previously and he took it like a man. He moved on and writes about other things and you still pursue the guy. I am not defending Hengari at all. From what I have seen, he is perfectly capable of defending himself. What is irritating, though, Becker, is that you make it your business to attack the persona of Hengari and not the issues. After reading your note it is very clear to me who the gadfly is in this case.Mutanib AribebBy email
