Teenager drowns in Zambezi River

A 15-year-old girl who was swimming on her own in the Zambezi River drowned on Friday.

The body of Mwananyambe Manyando was found at the river close to Nasisangani village in the Kalimbeza area, NamPol’s Chief Inspector Hieronymus Goraseb said yesterday.
