A TEACHER at Windhoek High School recently resigned after he was implicated in a theft of photocopier paper from the school.
WHS principal Frans Van Sittert this week rejected claims that George Tobias resigned from the school last month because an unspecified amount of photocopier paper was allegedly found in his home, saying that the teacher had ‘decided on pursuing his private ambitions’.However, upon enquiry, the Ministry of Education confirmed that a theft case has been opened against the teacher.’The matter has been handed over to the court,’ Ministry spokesperson Ester Paulus said earlier this week.Tobias could not be reached for comment.
