AS a German citizen who has been living harmlessly in Namibia for 11 years, I take umbrage at the NUNW’s unqualified craphead remarks.
Seriously. Stop raging on at the Germans living in Namibia. We pay our taxes, obey the laws, contribute to society as best we can. We haven’t done anything to you. Far be it from me to deny the NUNW the right to free speech – in fact I encourage it – but it makes me sad that this speech is used to spout ignorant, xenophobic anti-democratic hogwash.Newsflash: ‘regime change’ is not the same thing as ‘healthy democratic process’. And if some in the NUNW have a problem with the concept of there ever being a government in Namibia run by anyone other than Swapo, then said people have failed to grasp a very fundamental principle of democracy.Perhaps the NUNW has something enlightening to say about, you know, Namibian workers, instead of spouting pseudo-Marxist claptrap. I’m all ears.
