THE Namibia Sports Commission (NSC) will host its first-ever Sports Indaba from today to Friday at Heja Lodge outside Windhoek.
NSC chief administrator Rusten Mogane said the main aim of the indaba is to discuss the poor performance of Namibia’s sportsmen at various international sports events, and to look at ways to improve their performances.
Sport in Namibia is not up to standard, and the NSC is thus targeting to increase the number of gold and silver medals that are brought home when Namibian participate at international events.
