SOUTH African citizen Elizabeth Kate Foight (59) died instantly after a car in which she was travelling veered off the road and overturned.
The accident happened on Tuesday on the gravel road between Koës and the southern Mata-Mata border post. Foight’s husband, who was driving, told Police that he lost control of the car when he entered a sharp bend, said Karas Police Commissioner Josephat Abel. Abel said a 25-year-old son of the couple was admitted to the Keetmanshoop State Hospital with serious injuries. He described his condition as critical.
