YOU people can really waste time on trivial matters neh? I mean there are far more pressing issues and matters that need to be dealt with rather than the nation standing up against the seven o’ clock news.

Namibia wake up.We cannot build this beautiful country with drunken minds.- Shapopi Where to Etosha? n THE Swapo Party Youth League officials should read the MCA compact rather than just scanning and saying things that would harm Namibia’s image to donors.n THE SPYL has no genuine problem with the MCA proposal. They have simply realised that there is a lot of gravy in the MCA and they want to get on that train! Best way to do that is to make sure they replace the train’s conductor with their own man.Remember the oil deal (NLF)? The Omusati beneficiaries? Now they want to partake of the millions of dollars availed by the imperialist USA! The looting continues in the name of the poor masses! n THE problem with the Millennium Account money is that the sharks were excluded from the deal.Include them and the problem is solved.n MAYBE the idea of Americans “taking over” Etosha isn’t such a bad idea after all! Those people know all about good service, good cleaning, good maintenance and good (cheap) pricing. Those are things the NWR people know nothing about! n WILL Etosha now be the 53rd state in the USA? n PEOPLE of Namibia do not mind the Swapo Youth for what they are saying on the MCA.The boys are talking on behalf of a big somebody who wants to use them like Kapia and Kandara to do dirty work. The people of Namibia deserve a decent life and therefore nobody normal should reject the money to reduce poverty. The boys and the big somebody only want NWR to receive the funds only to empower the Omusati clique.n WHO are these Swapo Youth so-called leaders? o a number of the complaints about the Education Sector, which have been SMSed to The Namibian: I was very much shocked by two seniors at our school, who prevented some learners from entering the examination room on Tuesday, when physical science was written, before they paid their school development fund fees in full.At a later stage the principal forced them to sign, while others were already seated and started writing.Would anyone make me aware of the policy where this rule is stipulated? – There is definitely no rule, policy, or guidelines that prevent learners from writing school examinations due to outstanding School Development Fund (SDF).The school should arrange with the parents on how parents can contribute towards their children’s SDF.Learners who are denied to write school exams can report the matter to the Regional Office.Minister of Education please come and see how we postgraduate students jostle for a place at the National Library with high school learners every morning. Not only that some, some of these people answer cell phones, study in groups and chat around, thus disturbing others. They even sleep on the desk thereby reserving it.This place requires some degree of maturity from patrons. Please consider opening the library on Saturdays for October and November, as well as the aircon.- According to the Library Rules and Regulations, the use of cell phones is not allowed in the library. To this effect, notices have been placed in different sections of the library for the users to see clearly. However, in cases of non-compliance by some library users, the library staff from time to time does try to discourage users from using cell phones within the library. With regard to study groups, the library has private study rooms, where reasonable study discussions can take place without disturbing the other users.Plans are underway to open the library on Saturdays.Yours in Education, The Public Relations OfficeNamibia wake up.We cannot build this beautiful country with drunken minds.- Shapopi Where to Etosha? n THE Swapo Party Youth League officials should read the MCA compact rather than just scanning and saying things that would harm Namibia’s image to donors.n THE SPYL has no genuine problem with the MCA proposal. They have simply realised that there is a lot of gravy in the MCA and they want to get on that train!
