I don’t remember voting for my mayor or councillor – who appoints these councillors? We need direct elections where we can vote for our mayors and councillors. We are the ones who pay for our rates and taxes. No taxation without representation!* IF there is one thing that we as Namibians adore, it is none other than meetings. I have nothing against the principle of consultations, brainstorming and knowledge exchange. Oshikunde SS is the only school that has Grade 1 to 12 in the region, yet the school does not have water nor hostel facilities. Learners are suffering, including teachers who hike 47 km to buy water at Eenhana town.
