‘Hearts Across Horizons’ the latest initiative by Gondwana Collection Namibia, is a twofold initiative aimed at creating special photographic opportunities for guests at their various properties, infused with the company’s unique flair of social responsibility.
The red heart frames have been installed at 16 Gondwana properties throughout Namibia, with more to be installed at properties like Damara Mopane Lodge and more to be announced.
Inspired by the heart in the Gondwana Care Trust (GCT) logo, this project aims not only to provide guests with memorable experiences but also to raise awareness for the Gondwana Care Trust and its invaluable work.
Founded in 2017, GCT was formalised to unify the efforts of those who strive to improve Namibia. To date, the initiative has become an enabler of projects both in house and through supporting other organisations to give back to the communities that contribute to those organisations’ success, further harmonising the connection between brand Namibia and Gondwana Collection Namibia.
“Beyond sustainable impact, the goal of the Gondwana Care Trust is to create independence and empower organisations to be self-sufficient,” says Ndinelao Shikemeni, marketing and diversity, equity and inclusion manager at Gondwana Collection Namibia.
Staying abreast of fun and innovative ideas, the heart concept is set to culminate in a Valentine’s ‘Kiss of the Year’ competition next year, offering exclusive Secret Collection prizes. During November to January 2025, guests are encouraged to take a photo of their best kiss within the heart-shaped frame and post them on various social media platforms with the specified hashtags to enter the competition.
The winning couple will receive a Valentine’s getaway, providing them with the perfect opportunity to create even more unforgettable memories with Gondwana.
‘Hearts Across Horizons’ is not just a photography project; it’s a celebration of love, community and the breathtaking beauty of Namibia.
By participating in this initiative, guests not only create cherished memories, but also contribute to the ongoing success of the Gondwana Care Trust.
