Skuilhoek: A force to reckon with in farming

NICHLAS Mbingeneeko is at the helm of Skuilhoek Boer Goat Stud in the Aranos District. The stud is registered with the Boer Goat Breeders’ Society of Namibia and is also a member of the Namibian Stud Breeders’ Association since 2007.

Skuilhoek boasts with top genetic breeding material drawn from prominent local breeders such as Dirk Louw, Erik Strauss, Kobus van Wyk and Willie Coetzee. Skuilhoek has exhibited Boer goats at the Windhoek and Gobabis agricultural shows since 2010.Mbingeneeko subscribes to continuous quality improvement and he never hesitates when it comes to investing in a top quality ram or ewe. He is eager to share his achievements by way of selling top genetic quality to fellow goat farmers at production auctions. Mbingeneeko not only has Boer goats of top genetic quality, but he is also a prominent Damara sheep breeder. At last year’s Windhoek Show, Mbingeneeko exhibigted the Grand Champion Damara ewe. Mbingeneeko and Vaughn Komomungondo will hold their first joint Boer goat auction on August 9 at the NamBoer Auction Pens in Windhoek at 18h00.The auction will also offer stud Damara and Veldmaster sheep.
