THE Namibian Police drug law enforcement unit at Walvis Bay has arrested a second suspect in a drug-related case dating back to the end of last year.
Bruno Izaaks, a legal drafter at the Windhoek Ministry of Justice, was taken into custody at Swakopmund. His girlfriend, Andrea Helena Feres (24), was arrested on New Year’s Eve.Police said she had 18 ecstasy tablets in her possession.According to the Police, they did not have enough evidence to arrest Izaaks at the same time as Feres.He was charged with possessing drugs and appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.Izaaks and Feres were each released on N$1 000 bail and ordered to appear in the court on April 1, pending laboratory results.Feres was one of four young people arrested at Swakopmund over the New Year.Forty ecstasy tablets were confiscated with a total value of N$4 800.His girlfriend, Andrea Helena Feres (24), was arrested on New Year’s Eve.
