Sean Paul to headline BBA All Star launch!

All eyes will be certainly be trained on the Big Brother Africa house this Sunday as M-Net launches the ‘All Star’ season of the show with a performance by none other than Jamaican dancehall superstar Sean Paul.

Not in any way to be confused with ‘Paul the soccer-score predicting octopus’, Sean Paul is in fact the hunky caramel-skined, corn-rowed musician who wants to ‘Give It To You Girl’.
The Grammy award-winning artist will perform three of his popular songs at the BBA All Stars launch, welcoming 14 previous housemates from 14 countries across the continent.
To the tune of his hip-grinding music, the housemates will no doubt be winding their way into a redecorated BBA house where they will compete against each other to see who makes it all the way to the end of a 91-day adventure and gets to bank the whopping US$200 000 in prize money .
Undeniably the most high-profile musician to perform at any of the BBA launches, Sean Paul is sure to create quite a stir.
Since his breakout 2002 hit ‘Gimme The Light’, the talented performer has been hard at work releasing four albums in quick succession.
From the success of his multi-platinum Grammy winning classic album ‘Dutty Rock’, to the launch of the 2005 platinum smash ‘Trinity’, to his latest offering ‘Blaze’, the Kingston-born singer has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide.
Having collaborated with international Hip Hop and R&B stars like 50 Cent, Eve, Rihanna and Busta Rhymes, it is safe to say that this season’s BBA housemates will be in good company.
He’s also recorded several hit duets with some of the music industry’s sexiest female artists like Estelle’s ‘Come on Over’, Keyshia Cole’s ‘It Up To Me’, ‘Break It Off’ with Rihanna, ‘Boy’with Beyonce, and ‘It to You Girl’with Eve.
What better way to get the newest season of BBA off to a spectacular start!
Meanwhile, M-Net has released a couple of sneak peek images of the new, refurbished Big Brother Africa house, detailing its transformation from the tough, gritty Revolution design to the rather luxurious, glamorous and All Stars version.
Comfortable and sophisticated with a hint of drama, counterbalanced by glossy touches and subtly accentuated with patterned wallpaper and glowing lighting, the new design is elegant and functional too, with the ever present watchful eyes and ears of Big Brother incorporated into the overall design.
Get ready, the All Stars are on their way. The series starts this Sunday on DStv channel 198 at 18h00 with edited highlight programmes on M-Net and AfricaMagic.
