THE 17th annual Metropolitan Boards Trophy League kicks off on Saturday in nine regions across the country.
During the next three months, the league will showcase the best of Namibian junior rugby talent as the Namibia Secondary Schools’ Rugby Association (NASSRA) prepares to build four competitive teams for their upcoming tour to South Africa in July.
This year, 105 teams have entered the league, with 2 625 players participating in various age groups. These groups are U/14A; U/14B; U/15A; U/15B; U/19D; U/19C; U/19B; U/19A and U/19 Super.
