THE Roccaraso Business League for inline hockey will start at the Kamikaze rink at 17h30 tomorrow.
The 16-and-under as well as senior divisions consist of two teams each, who will play in a be ‘best of three’ competition. First up will be the contenders Neo Paints versus NARCh in the 16-and-under division. It remains to be seen whether NARCh can hold their opponents at bay or succumb to team Neo Paint’s admirable skills. The first game will be followed by three open games – featuring EcoGroup against ProCoach, Gecko Namibia against PumpSol, and M&Z against Radio Kudu. The last game for the evening will start at 20h28 and will pit Major Drilling against team Chelsea Fashions in the senior division. On Saturday the games will start at noon in the open division followed by the second match in the 16 and under division to determine the best teams on the rink for the finals in the evening. The final 16-and-under division game will be played at 17h00, followed by the finals in the seniors division, before the final in the open division. Spectators are invited to witness what is expected to be a festive and fun weekend of inline hockey. The organisers believe homemade cooking and Glühwein will keep spectator energy levels high, as ‘our business league players are cheered in their charge towards the ‘best of the rest’ finals’.
