Rivalry Part of Democracy

I THINK Swapo should be very careful not to intimidate RDP members.

If it is found that members of Swapo have been intimidating RDP members then it would show categorically that Swapo is not democratic and never has been. Swapo members should be falling over themselves to demonstrate that they can take political rivals in their stride. Now is the time, Namibia, to show your true democratic credentials. To the new RDP, I say well done and stick to your democratic principles. In the end they will win out. People in Namibia have truly had enough of the arrogant swagger of the ruling party. It is time for forward thinking politics in Namibia and not the morbid focus on the past that has so characterised Swapo’s rule. In my opinion RDP members should come out loud and proud.
