THE Congress of Democrats (CoD) has scheduled a public meeting at Rehoboth tonight where it will explain the reasons behind the withdrawal of its only member in the Town Council this past weekend.
The CoD on Saturday notified Benjamin Jagger of his withdrawal, claiming it was due to his involvement ‘in a number of dubious or corrupt activities carried out by the Rehoboth Town Council’.When contacted about the allegations this week, Jagger said he was still awaiting the details of the charges apparently being formulated against him.The party will meet with residents at the Rehoboth Town Hall at 18h30.
