Canberra – A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude 6,7 rocked eastern Papua New Guinea yesterday, the Hong Kong Observatory said.
The quake hit just before17h00 Hong Kong time (09h00 GMT) with the epicentre about 380km north of the capital, Port Moresby, the observatory said in a statement.
