THE Central North Regional Electricity Distribution (Cenored) has announced that the Otjiwarongo, Okakarara and Waterberg areas will be without electricity on Sunday.
Cenored says NamPower will do maintenance on the Otjiwarongo and Matemba (Okakarara) transmission substations, leaving some areas without electricity from 08h00 to 16h30. The power interruption will affect the following places: the entire Otjiwarongo, Klein Waterberg, Okakarara, Ombuyuvakuru, Omupanda, Waterberg Hunting Lodge, Dow Okatjikona Training Centre, Dow Onjoka Staff House, Onjoko Pump Station and Waterberg Tourist Camp as well as the farms connected to those distribution lines.Cenored warns customers to treat all power sockets as live for the duration.The power interruption will affect the following places: the entire Otjiwarongo, Klein Waterberg, Okakarara, Ombuyuvakuru, Omupanda, Waterberg Hunting Lodge, Dow Okatjikona Training Centre, Dow Onjoka Staff House, Onjoko Pump Station and Waterberg Tourist Camp as well as the farms connected to those distribution lines.Cenored warns customers to treat all power sockets as live for the duration.
