SEVERAL players managed to find their way to new teams in the domestic premiership before the window period closed last Friday.
The MTC Namibia Premier League (NPL) yesterday issued a list of players who were released and loaned during the two-week period.
The notable names are former FC AK (South Africa) defender Ivan Namaseb, who has now been cleared to play for Orlando Pirates.
The other biggest scoop for the remainder of the season is the return of goalkeeper Arnold Subeb to the premiership, now with his former club Black Africa after he had a stint in South Africa.
Midfielder Luther Kanalelo has been loaned out to Civics from Ramblers, while former Civics forward Danny Chilufya has been released by Sport Klub Windhoek (SKW) to join Black Africa of which he already played for last weekend.
Black Africa loaned Bernardus Rooi to Orlando Pirates, while they have also done the same to Ronny Hochobeb and Geraldo Eiseb who will now be with Ramblers.
BA also cleared Andries Kanyemba and Erwin Ndjembo, who both joined Tigers.
Tigers has sold Colin Mbasuvara to African Stars and at the same time acquired the services of Charles Hindjou from African Stars.
The Collin Benjamin Soccer Academy also loaned out their youngster Tiberius Lombard to Tigers.
Timoteus Iipinge will move to struggling Chief Santos on loan from lower division side Benfica, while Frans Uiseb has been loaned out to Hotspurs from Black Africa.
African Stars picked up youngster John Novengi from the Collin Benjamin Soccer Academy, while Stars at the same time loaned out Stanley Neuman to Hotspurs.
In other moves, Namib Woestyn’s Ekane Ndille joins Eleven Arrows on loan, while Stanley Kamaseipo made a move to Orlando Pirates from now relegated Golden Bees.
Mighty Gunners loaned out both Romanus Shilongo and Robert Nanuseb to Oshakati City for the rest of the season, while Chama Kaire left Tigers for Ramblers.
