BUTTERWORTH – A group of armed robbers at Butterworth were surprised when their supposedly soft target, an elderly woman and her children alone at home, sent them packing.

The men kicked open a door at the home of the former mayor’s wife, Ndileka Ndindwa, 62, about 21:45 on Saturday.
