IF the Omaruru Municipality does not pay a former acting CEO N$61 000 by today, the town will lose its only road grader and fire engine at a public auction tomorrow.
In a notice of sale in execution, the Omaruru Magistrate’s Court on August 18 ordered that the municipality’s Fiat Hitachi grader and Unimog fire engine be sold to the highest bidder at the municipal office tomorrow.The order was made after the municipality failed to pay its former acting CEO, Frans Gaoseb, N$61 000 he claimed was due to him.The Omaruru Magistrate ruled in favour of Goaseb.
