A POLICE officer attached to the Serious Crime Unit at Keetmanshoop shot himself with a service pistol early Sunday morning.
The regional Police commander Deputy Commissioner Josephat Abel, identified the officer as Norman Bock (26). According to Abel, Bock was found dead with two wounds to his head in the veld near the Westdene residential area. No foul play is suspected, said Abel. Before killing himself, Bock crashed into a fence with a Police vehicle.
