NSC to revive netball

THE Namibia Sports Commission (NSC) will on Friday chart the way forward for the country’s inactive netball code that seems to have fallen into a deep sleep.

NSC chief administrator Rusten Mogane said NSC Commissioners have been instructed by the Minister of Sport Willem Konjore to establish an interim committee to put modalities in place to revive this code.Mogane added that the interim committee’s sole responsibility is to make sure that elections for the All Namibia Netball Association (ANNA) are held at regional and national level with immediate effect.The interim committee will also be tasked with amending ANNA’s constitution.
