NIGERIA may choose Namibia as its camping site for the national football team, the Super Eagles, ahead of the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola, Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) officials said yesterday.
”It has almost been sealed by the leadership of the NFF that the Super Eagles would camp in Namibia because Namibia has a similar weather with Angola now, while it is extremely cold in South Africa now,” NFF spokesman Demola Olajire told PANA.The NFF had earlier planned to camp the team in South Africa.Nigeria has been placed alongside Egypt, Mozambique and Benin in group C of the 2010 Nations Cup. – Afrique en ligne
