NFA’s agreement with SAFA operational

WINDHOEK -The Namibia Football Association (NFA) Acting Secretary-General, Barry Rukoro said the co-operation agreement signed by the local football authority and the South African Football Association (SAFA) is not dormant.

Rukoro shrugged off talks making the rounds that the agreement signed early this year has failed to yield any fruits. He said Namibia has benefited from the agreement following the country’s referees officiating at sub-regional events such as the Confederation of Southern Africa Football Association (COSAFA) mini-tournament this year as well as the Vodacom Challenge held in South Africa. He added that Namibia will definitely benefit from the agreement including its youth development programme.Rukoro is confident that the Brave Warriors will also benefit from the cooperation agreement including the Premier League clubs. The agreement between the two associations was signed by the NFA President, John Muinjo and SAFA President, Molefe Oliphant in March.NampaHe said Namibia has benefited from the agreement following the country’s referees officiating at sub-regional events such as the Confederation of Southern Africa Football Association (COSAFA) mini-tournament this year as well as the Vodacom Challenge held in South Africa. He added that Namibia will definitely benefit from the agreement including its youth development programme.Rukoro is confident that the Brave Warriors will also benefit from the cooperation agreement including the Premier League clubs. The agreement between the two associations was signed by the NFA President, John Muinjo and SAFA President, Molefe Oliphant in March.Nampa
