CABINET has approved the appointment of five people to the Meat Board of Namibia to replace board members whose terms of office have expired.
Hans Kuehne, representing the Eastern Commercial/Communal region for a period of three years starting on September 2 2007, will replace Mr A Kangootui, the Namibia National Farmers’ Union (NNFU) representative on the Board. Wolfgang Raith of Hartlief, representing meat traders, will serve for three years starting on August 2 2007.Job Hengari, who represents the Eastern Communal Producers, will serve from August 2 2007 until 2010.Mr S Uanivi of the Southern/Western Communal Producers will replace Ms V Tjombonde.Mr E Haikela of the Northern/ Western Communal Producers will replace Ms R Amutenya on the Meat Board.Wolfgang Raith of Hartlief, representing meat traders, will serve for three years starting on August 2 2007.Job Hengari, who represents the Eastern Communal Producers, will serve from August 2 2007 until 2010.Mr S Uanivi of the Southern/Western Communal Producers will replace Ms V Tjombonde.Mr E Haikela of the Northern/ Western Communal Producers will replace Ms R Amutenya on the Meat Board.
