AFRICAN Stars forward Pandukeni Nekundi bagged the MTC NPL Awards 2018 Top Scorer and Player of the Season prizes at the Safari Hotel in Windhoek on Friday night.
Nekundi was not around to collect his winnings as he is part of the Brave Warriors’ team preparing to face Zambia in a Cosafa Cup quarter-final match in Polokwane, South Africa on Saturday.
His coach Bobby Samaria won the Coach of the Season award for leading Starlile to the MTC Namibia Premier League and Debmarine Namibia Cup double triumph.

Assistant Referee of the Season: Sem Singeve (Otjozondjupa);
Referee of the season: Nehemiah Shovalekah (Ohangwena);
Top Goal Scorer of the season: Panduleni Nekundi (African Stars)
Players’ Player of the Season: Dynamo Fredericks (Black Africa)
Coach of the season: Bobby Samaria (African Stars)

Bronze medallist: Mighty Gunners
Silver medallist: Black Africa

Chairman’s award: Bethuel ‘Five’ Hochobeb (posthumous) and Bobby Sissing.
