LOCAL boxer Jason ‘Taks’ Naule will have a two-round sparring bout against World Boxing Association (WBA) lightweight champion Paulus ‘The Hitman’ Moses in Windhoek on November 21.
This is after his scheduled opponent and countryman Daniel ‘Open Fire’ Kashela was reported to have left for the United Kingdom (UK) late last week.Boxing promoter and trainer Nestor Tobias said he has now omitted Kashela from the evening’s programme.He said Naule is one of the five boxers who will take on Moses, as he is preparing for his WBA lightweight title defence fight against Mexican Marco Antonio Barrera in early January next year. He is expected to fight in Los Angeles in the United States.Two other local boxers, Paulus ‘Ali’ Nuumbembe and Betuel ‘Tyson’ Uushona, as well as two South African boxers are expected to take on Moses.The WBA lightweight champion will have a 10-round sparring session on the evening, while there will also be several other fights.- Nampa
