IN March 2008, a German film team joined a group of Namibian pupils, from nine Windhoek schools, on a 14-day environmental education trip in the Kalahari where they worked on a range of reseach projects.
Better known as EduVentures, the students take part in expeditions to remote and inaccessible areas, where their research includes collecting specimens for the National Museum of Namibia.
This trip looked at scorpion activity, archeology and a project on the life of the San.
A 35-minute documentary on the trip was screened on the ARTE channel in France and Germany last July.
It has been turned into a 60-minute film (in German with English sub-titles) that will be shown at the Aula at the DHPS on Sunday, March 29, at 19h00.
All are welcome to see these Namibian youngsters in action. Entry is free but a donation would be welcome.
