NAMIBIA on Saturday clinched the One Day International (ODI) series against Zimbabwe A 3-1, after beating the home side by six wickets at the Harare Sport Club on Saturday.

On Thursday, Namibia beat a Zimbabwean under-19 side by 68 runs in a once-off match played at the same venue. Namibia beat Zimbabwe A in their first ODI on January 16, before they lost last Sunday in the second encounter.Last Tuesday Namibia beat Zim A by 12 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the series.On Saturday, Namibia bowled out Zimbabwe for 131 and managed to reach 133 for four in 26 overs.Namibia’s top order chipped in with JB Burger scoring 24 runs, Deon Kotze 28, Riaan Walters 24 and Danie Keulder 23.On Thursday, Namibia made 216 all out, but soon had their young counterparts against the wall and bowled them out for 148 runs.Walters made the highest score against the youngsters as he reached 63 runs, while JB Burger took four wickets for 29.Namibia was due back yesterday and are to face Bangladesh in a series of matches that starts on Saturday in the capital.Namibia beat Zimbabwe A in their first ODI on January 16, before they lost last Sunday in the second encounter.
