NAMIBIA lost the 2010 Metropolitan Cosafa Under-20 Youth Championships 4-1 to Zambia on Sunday.
Having exceeded expectations by reaching the final, Namibia struggled to match the hard-running Zambians, who netted four times before Ikwaterua Tjozongoro got on the score sheet. Despite the loss the team can be proud of their performance at the annual tournament, where they drew 2-all with pre-tournament favourites Lesotho before impressively notching up a 3-0 win over South Africa. Zimbabwe finished third after they beat Madagascar 3-1 in the third-place playoff.
