Murder suspect commits suicide

LESS than a week after the Police offered a N$15 000 reward for information on an escaped murder suspect, Jekonia Ndjukuma was found dead in a toilet in Windhoek’s Ombili settlement.

The 29-year-old Ndjukuma, who also went by the aliases Jekonia Mwaanga Hangula and Jekonia Nghiningwavali, allegedly shot himself in the head with a pistol late on Monday night.
