JOHANNESBURG – Vodacom and MTN Group are poised to bid for a cellphone licence in the Namibian market, said a recent report by investment research firm Merrill Lynch.
“Although this will be a small opportunity, we believe both MTN and Vodacom could be interested in the Namibian second cellphone licence given Namibia’s close proximity to South Africa.”
