More rain predicted countrywide

THE first widespread rains of Namibia’s new rainy season fell over large parts of the country late last week and over the weekend.

With moisture in the atmosphere over Namibia expected to shift from the northwest and to be concentrated over the central and southeastern parts of the country towards the middle of this week, more rain can be expected over these areas of Namibia from today, weatherman Victor Kaurimuje of the Hosea Kutako International Airport weather office said yesterday.
