Ministry of Education responds

THE Ministry of Education has taken time out to respond to a number of the complaints about the Education Sector, which have been SMSed to The Namibian: ON December 14 we received SMSes from a number 2929 saying that the Grade 10 and 12 results will be out on Monday and we should SMS our info to that number to get our results.

We were charged N$4 per SMS and we never got any replies or results so to say. What happens to our money? Will they refund us and who is responsible for these lies? – The Ministry of Education would like to assure all our users that all queries received by our system on the 17th December 2007 have been logged and all queries will be processed at no cost on the date the results will be available as announced by the Ministry of Education. Therefore, users who have already requested results need not re-send their queries and will receive the results provided that their query is valid. However, the normal charge will apply for new queries.Yours in Education Public Relations OfficeWhat happens to our money?
