Minister ‘acted within the law’

THE Windhoek Traffic Department claims that Higher Education Minister Nahas Angula acted within the law when he left the scene of an accident on Saturday night.

The acting head of the department, Superintendent David Viljoen, said yesterday that “there was no case” against Angula because he “acted within” the law, which states that when there are no injuries, those involved could leave and report the accident within 24 hours.
