Maternity wards left without water

NEWBORN babies and their mothers in the Windhoek Central Hospital’s maternity wards were without water for most of Sunday after pipes burst.

Angry family members of those in the pre-natal and post-natal maternity wards complained bitterly, as the patients had to do without water for the whole of Sunday.
