DAVID Shikota (39) lost 29 head of cattle he was keeping at Ogongo Unam campus in the Omusati region to theft.
Omusati police deputy commissioner Malakia Simaho reported that cattle valued at N$165 500 disappeared at the Ogongo Unam cattle camp.
The theft was discovered on Wednesday.
“It appears this theft was happening continuously since the beginning of the year. The suspect, who is still at large, cut through the main campus fence and drove the herd of cattle out without being seen. Up to now, nothing has been recovered. The suspect is unknown, and we are busy with investigations,” said Simaho.
