A 53-year-old man died after he fell from a Telecom bakkie and was run over by an oncoming vehicle on Saturday, the Police reported yesterday.
The Telecom vehicle was allegedly being driven at high speed along Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako Avenue, with the driver suspected to have been under the influence of alcohol. The driver is in Police custody.* At Onkadi village in the North, Ndashunuka Tauli (70) was run over by a tractor.Police spokesperson, Chief Inspector Angula Amulungu, said Tauli was apparently lying in the road when a tractor, which was being driven without lights, struck and killed him on Thursday evening.The driver of the tractor has been arrested.* On Saturday a vehicle with four occupants overturned on the Outjo-Otjiwarongo main road killing an employee of the Ministry of Health and Social Services, Emil Carol Ulrish (40).The driver is in Police custody. * At Onkadi village in the North, Ndashunuka Tauli (70) was run over by a tractor.
