Police yesterday morning found the body of a 27 year-old Keetmanshoop resident a few meters from a shebeen in the Keetmanshoop Tseiblaagte residential area.
Police deputy Commissioner Rudolf Isaak identified the deceased as Rudicer Swartbooi.
Isaak said no foul play was involved. According to a medical report, Swartbooi died of an epileptic attack, said Isaak.Isaak added that Swartbooi’s medical history shows that he was receiving epilepsy treatment. ‘Cold could have partly contributed to his death, but a local doctor diagnosed the leading cause of the death as an epileptic fit,’ said Isaak. luqman@namibian.com.na
