JEROME Louis continued his amazing goalscoring run by netting twice in Black Africa’s 4-1 victory against SKW on Thursday, to move well clear on the top goalscorers chart.
Louis has now scored 19 goals in only 17 matches and seems set to win the Top Goalscorer of the Year award at the end of the season.
Civics’ young winger Eslin Kamuhanga moved up to joint second place after scoring a penalty in Civics’ 1-all draw against Tigers on Friday.
Kamuhanga joins SKW midfielder Marco van Wyk on 12 goals, now seven goals off the pace.
Tigers striker Kenny Malgas remains fourth on 10 goals, while Oshakati City midfielder Benson Shilongo and Eleven Arrows striker Muna Katupose move up to joint fifth position on eight goals each.
Shilongo scored from the penalty spot in Oshakati’s 3-1 defeat to Pirates on Saturday, while Muna Katupose scored a goal in Arrows’ 2-all draw against Ramblers.
Orlando Pirates striker John Samson moves up to joint seventh position on seven goals after scoring one of Pirates’ goals in their victory against Oshakati.
Ramblers striker Dickson Paul moves up to joint 12th position after scoring a goal in their 2-all draw against Arrows. Arrows midfielder Rudolph Bester scored one of their goals in that match to move up to 13th position on five goals.
