The list, which includes 96 sites in London, will be distributed at this year’s Beijing Games. “We said that we wanted the London Games to be for athletes, and the facilities listed in this guide will really help overseas athletes prepare well,” London 2012 chairman Sebastian Coe said yesterday.Athletics and fencing have the most facilities, with 135 each, while basketball has 101, and archery and table tennis 94 each.About 35 per cent of the facilities are in the southeast of England and London, including Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, Charlton Athletic soccer stadium and Twickenham rugby stadium – which has been picked for archery training.London organisers are set to give visiting teams a credit of as much as N$250 000.Nampa-AP”We said that we wanted the London Games to be for athletes, and the facilities listed in this guide will really help overseas athletes prepare well,” London 2012 chairman Sebastian Coe said yesterday.Athletics and fencing have the most facilities, with 135 each, while basketball has 101, and archery and table tennis 94 each.About 35 per cent of the facilities are in the southeast of England and London, including Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, Charlton Athletic soccer stadium and Twickenham rugby stadium – which has been picked for archery training.London organisers are set to give visiting teams a credit of as much as N$250 000.Nampa-AP
