I AM disappointed by the way our ruling party (Swapo) is behaving, taking into consideration provocations against supporters and members of some opposition parties, especially those of the RDP.
Since the formation of this party, many incidents against members of RDP were reported in the country.
This was due to ignorance, disrespect and abuse of the Namibian Constitution, which has various articles guaranteeing democracy and protecting human rights.
Andimba ya Toivo once gave us a good advice to stop what we are doing, but his advice and suggestion has fallen on deaf ears. For how long will we keep on doing this? Fellow Namibians, let’s have sense understand that members of opposition parties are not the enemies of Swapo supporters but simply their political opponents.
We are all brothers and sister regardless of our political affiliation. Let us tolerate each other and develop Namibia to become a safe place to live in.
