NAIROBI – World 5 000-metres champion Benjamin Limo and Olympic 10 000-metres silver medallist Catherine Ndereba were voted as Kenya’s male and female 2005 Athletes of the Year, officials said yesterday.
The 31-year-old Limo received the biggest vote from a panel of Kenyan journalists after he won Kenya’s only gold medal at the world championships in Helsinki last August.
