THE three boys who allegedly raped a three-year-old girl in Koës on Wednesday last week will undergo psychological screening early next month.
The boys, aged nine, 10 and 11, appeared in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate’s Court yesterday in the presence of their parents.The case was postponed to February 8.Karas Police Commissioner Josephat Abel last week told The Namibian that the girl had been playing with the boys in the veld near their homes when they raped her. They were released in their parents’ care on the same day they were arrested.For now, the boys are able to go to school while awaiting trial. – Nampa
